The 4th race of the Chase moves to another mile and a half track, Kansas Speedway for a 400 mile race. A race typically decided on fuel milelage, it will likely go that way again, given the lack of cautions seen here.

The NNS will become even more dull this weekend, with a Buschwhacker more than likely to win it with the usual Nationwide debris cautions taking place.

The Truck Series has a week off before racing alongside the IndyCar Series at their finale in Las Vegas.

Not quite. Charlotte, Texas and Atlanta and way way better than the rest of those.

They're better than the others, but I dunno, I've just been getting real tired of 1.5 mile races D-ish oval races.

You're not the only one to think that.

Exactly. Charlotte, Texas and Atlanta are quad-ovals.

The tracks themselves I don't mind, they've provided some excellent racing in the past (as opposed to say Michigan, California and Indy which are always dull). But the current rules package absolutely blows on 1.5 mile superspeedways.

The Atlanta race was so awesome, probably because the tires played such a big role that it cut down on the importance of clean air and track position somewhat but at all the other intermediate tracks, tires barely fall off these days. NASCAR has got to get on Goodyear's case and make sure the tires lose a lot of grip over a fuel run.

Goodyear would probably manage to come up with a tyre that explodes every 10 laps.
