Also, this video reminded me of how awesome the Inner Loop used to be. Then they put in flatter, more boring curbs. Why????

Probably so the delicate Indycars don't bend their suspensions.. :-/

The man is on a fucking roll right now. I'd almost say he's a lock for the chase right now. It'd be awesome if he could actually make a run at the championship.

Crazy race. Cool to see Ambrose finally win a cup race.

Twitter compilation from Biffle:

Quote:
1st of all I want to make sure everyone sees the wreck between David & David, now that's coming from a guy that says I am unprofessional. Let me tell u something Boris,"the roadcourse ringer" caused that wreck. He did the same thing to me earlier in the race off the carousel. The same place Sam H got off & caused the horrific wreck with the 24,31etc. Thank God, they paved that run off. Then Mr. Class pulls in behind my truck after the race today?! Shouldn't you go check on David & David? How unprofessional & disrespectful!

Dear Cup drivers:

I realize Boris's move was somewhat rough for a part-timer, but did you guys watch Sonoma? Maybe only full-timers get to show disrespect for others equipment, I don't know.

Did anyone hear Biffle's NASCAR Now interview? I had to keep myself from bursting out laughing during it. I don't think it's on Youtube yet, unfortunately.

Opposite of last year Said vs Stewart, this time Said turned someone

That was one of my first thoughts. Said was so upset last year when someone did that to him, yet he forgets this time around and causes a much worse accident. I know racers are always pushing hard to the last gasp, but someone of Said's experience really needs to know his place in a situation like that. He's not racing for points and he's nowhere near the lead; he needs to breathe the throttle just a little and let the full-timers have a little space.

Excellent for Ambrose. Also, thank god that Reutimann, Ragan and Hamlin are OK.

You have to wonder though, was Reutimann launched by the armco?

And this race needs to be HOF'd.

About damn time Ambrose picked up a Cup victory! Hope there's many more to come! :)

Dont know if this has been asked yet but would be interesting to see how many non USA guys have won a Wiston/Nextel/Sprint cup race.

NASCAR must have road course in the Chase preferably in the second half

Great race, nice to see Ambrose finally winning. Those crashes could have been so much worse and the circuit owners should look at safety especially that wall after Turn 1 and extra tyre walls/safer barriers at Turn 1 and the Outer Loop

Ambrose, Montoya, Earl Ross

The article I read also said Mario Andretti because he wasn't born in the US

Point: Boris Said was in the exact position David Ragan was in last year. Stewart held his ground, Boris got wrecked. He was upset about it, but more or less backed off from what he initially thought about the wreck.
Counter-Point: That was around the half-way point of the race. Yesterday's wreck happened on the last lap, when guys are getting paid to get the best position they can. How can Boris know that Ragan's gonna keep on moving up? If he lets Ragan by, that's 2 or 3 more positions he can lose going through the esses.

The violence of that last wreck can be blamed just as much on the odd angles of the walls, if not more, than aggressive driving. It takes two to tango, of course, and it sucks that it happened, but it's racing. That shit's gonna happen.

Biffle's definitely not one to talk about being classy, as evidenced by the video above, and a few other occasions on his career.
