Roush Racing isn't doing so great today. Kenseth/Biffle run into each other, then Ragan crashes.

See the F1 race at Korea last year. They've probably fucked it up now though.

How did they all miss the 47 going off in avoidance?

And ESPN completely misses the fact Bobby Labonte hit David Ragan as he was spinning. lol

Most likely, they'll just sell the track and turn it into a housing project.

One of the writers at ESPN said the grandkids aren't allowed to sell the track until their grandparents AND parents die. I don't know how true that is, but I hope that's the case.

Seriously. That's the thing that annoys me with the paved infields more than anything else. Even aside from the fact that it makes the racing lamer because they have to have the bullshit yellow line rule, it just LOOKS ugly as can be.

I'm waiting for one of the tracks to paint the infield paved areas green or something to resemble grass.

Of course if it were me I'd paint some trippy 3D art work or some shit like that.

Someone at another forum suggested "grasscrete"

As in, grass growing out of concrete. The idea being that you go down there, you lose grip, but it has the same premise as a tarmac run-off.

So you just stop tending to the area? Not a bad idea.

And strip the paint off the walls while they're at it. That was one of the things that made Talladega look awesome.

Vickers has apparently lost an engine.

I remember thinking that they had done that in the grass strips at Martinsville. Turned out they had basically just painted over it to make it look greener. Which instead just made it look gawky.

Sounds like they don't trust their grandsons that much.

Guess they've watched Tony George and Brian France in action.

AstroTurf would probably be more slick than actual grass.

Who in their right mind would want to build a housing project out there? Unless they re-plant tens of thousands of trees, it's a field in the middle of nowhere.
