Pretty impressive performance by KHI in Nationwide qualifying, swept all the top 4 spots (Harvick, Stewart, Sadler, and Bowyer in that order)

He's a moving chicane because of the huge speed difference between him and everyone else.

Basically, I wouldn't expect he'd try and get out of the way. He'll do a Lepage only he's not coming out of the pits.

Sounds like NASCAR has made no changes with what the teams are allowed to do with the cooling systems, and we could see even less swapping.

smooth track = 2 car draft. the front end on the cot still provided draft racin before the big repavings at daytona and tally, and even then it took the drivers a couple years to figure it out.

it'll likely go away in 5-10 years

Bayne is second. With the way that car went on the 500, he may be a factor. That car pushed everyone to the front the entire race.

It shouldn't be the same car.... or do they not put the winning 500 car into Daytona USA anymore?

It's not the same car, but Bayne has stated that he may have a car just as good as the Daytona 500 winning car.

Maybe not, but the same setup surely, and the Ford engine does really well in this 2-car thingy.
