Halfway to the chase, and TNT back at the helm of coverage, the Cup series takes to the triangle in Pocono along with the ARCA boys.
The Trucks head off to Texas, which will sadly be devoid of any potential Kyle Busch rapefest, as he won't be competing. :(

Sprint Cup: 5-Hour Energy 500 - Sunday @ 1pm ET on TNT
ARCA: Pocono ARCA 200 - Saturday @ 1:30pm ET (airs @ 8pm ET on SPEED)

Trucks: WinStar World Casino 400k - Friday @ 9pm ET on SPEED

How is that a bad thing?

What happened to ARCA racing at Texas? Was that a one off event I'm guessing? Also if IIRC Pocono had some major changes around the track following the Sadler crash last year.

Yes there are some important changes: There is now a debris fence where there wasn't one previously (before Turn 1 to the tunnel turn) and walls/safer barriers on the left side where Sadler crashed

Oh, and BTW, the Prelude to The Dream is tonight at 8pm ET on PPV.
Available on DirecTV channel 121 or 122, Dish Network channel 455 or 472, and most cable providers.

Driver Lineup

And before the matter gets brought up about streams...
Joe A, in last year's thread, wrote:
Since it's a charity event, and since the proceeds to this event go to various charities (this includes the PPV gate), I am not allowing streams of this event to be posted here anyway. This is the only race all year which I will be this restrictive about the stream. If you post a link to one, I will remove it. Re-post it and get warned. Re-post it again and you'll be banned for a week.

I'm just quoting admin rule. You can bring it up to Joe A if you like, but I doubt he'll say anything different from what's already been posted.

Trust me, I no longer live on my own and now live with my parents, but if I did, I would definitely buy this. They would have a conniption fit if I ordered a PPV on THEIR cable. So, alas... I am stuck waiting for the replay on SPEED like three months from now. :(

Yeah, I know. I was just pointing out that even when it's a great cause, there are a lot of members who just can't watch it on TV.

I'm pretty sure that if I lived in the US, I'd pay for this to help and watch in HD instead of a crappy internet stream.

I just read on the Pocono Raceway Facebook page that, due to a gear ratio rule change, shifting is returning to Pocono this weekend. :)

Do like I do, write your parents a check for $25, or just tell them it's tax-deductible (it is a charitable donation).

Restarts at Pocono are awesome. It's just the super long green flag runs that get dull because there's no lapped traffic to deal with, no close battles, etc. for long periods of time. I, too, like Pocono just because it's different really.

I love Pocono, don't care about long green runs it's still a unique track.
