FOM weren't great today (again) Oh, Webber is passing Schumacher, let's just cut to a shot of Jenson's girlfriend in the pitbox instead. Even that Mclaren press guy got annoyed when they cut to him instead of showing the action on track.

We didn't see Maldonado crash at the pit exit, Di Resta crash, Rosberg losing his wing, and lot's of other stuff

Did Maldonado crash?

I dunno, it looked like he'd pulled off at the side of the track.

If Vettel didn't make the mistake, he probably would still lost the race, as Button could passed him with the DRS.

I don't like the DRS. Schumacher could defend perfectly in the 2 laps after the SC, but had no chance after that. That's not racing anymore.

I agree with Stefmeister they could use it a couple of times during a race, like P2P.

There were those lapped cars ahead though, not sure if Vettel could have caught them but if he had, he could have activated his DRS as well

Schumacher.

He was brilliant in the wet today. Lots of entertaining passes by him.

yes, he went straight on coming out of the pit. You could see a dent in the tyre barrier and debris lying in front when they were pushing him back. unless that was from another incident they missed. I thought he crashed, could be wrong though. A screenshot would be handy.

Think Maldonado was on slicks and just spun into the barrier

Last thing Im going to say about DRS for now.

My problem with DRS isn't actually the DRS as a system, My only problem is the regulations governing it.

Give them all 20 presses of DRS to be used anywhere to attack or defend so that it works more like a Push-2-Pass system, You also add an element of tactics which genuinely adds to the racing.

I'd be less against DRS if they did something like that, I just don't like the situations like we saw today & many times at Istanbul where one car can do nothing to defend against a car using DRS.

agree FIA really screwed it up today.

the distance was too long and double DRS really made passing artificial. Koba, Heidfeld, Schumi etc were sitting ducks they were getting passed way before the breaking point for last chicane.

way too artificial

i think FIA got to do something about this

easiest solution ban use of KERS for car behind that is about to use DRS.

10.

As soon as the Red Flag was out I went and cooked dinner so I didn't spend that much time waiting around :p
Race went from ok 7/10 to Absolutely epic in the space of about 10 laps. It had everything. Plus Vettel not winning is an undeniable plus point 8)

It seems people will look for any reason to bitch about what was a near-perfect race tbh.

When it's boring I understand the bitching but after such a great race I just wanna sit back and relish in it, for it is a rare thing indeed.

You can whine about the DRS to your hearts content but at the end of the day it ASSISTED (not created, not ruined, but ASSISTED) in bringing us a BRILLIANT race.
But it was merely one minor ingredient in a pot of so many exciting elements so why single it out for a bashing?

We had a great race, enjoy it for a bit before we start moaning about Valencia! ;)

to me is a 1/10 until the race was red flagged, but then the second part was a 19/10 so the average is 10/10

Thiiiiiis.
Like you said, the DRS assisted in the excitement, and that was it's intention surely?
Like most people are saying, it just needs a tweak or two, just to even it up slightly.
But it's bloody exciting to watch the way it is now.
