saw that too, the entire race review/docu was one of the best racing related things I've seen on TV.

recorded and uploaded a documentation about the race. the story is about bmw, starting from the testing with the car and ends with the race. in my opinion it´s one of the best motorsport review´s i´ve ever watched. it´s in german language, recorded from german tv channel vox

Not sure where to put this, but it's being reported that the tenants of the Nürburgring - Richter/Lindner - have been sacked! Their contract as operators of the Ring, who were of course running the place into the ground, is terminated with immediate effect. It appears operations will return to the state once again while they search for a much more competent tenant.

When the race comes closer, I think we should rename the thread as a tribute to Eddie who passed away a time ago as he was always contributing a lot into the Ring 24 Hours threads.

Just an idea. Of course we should do the same to Slyder as well somehow.

I'm hoping to arrive at the track by 12:00 on Wednesday. I'll have a rental car so I can probably go meet you somewhere if you'll be there on Wednesday, otherwise I'll have to check the schedule and check with my captain to find out what our rotation schedule is...

The short answer is yes, I'll be more than happy to join you for a beer! Just have to find out when...
