It should be somewhere that doesn't have a sprint cup race IMO

Clockwise round Darlington, or Dover should liven it up.

Would be cool if they did an event that kept really close to Saturday night short track events, with heats, mains and everything.

Idea: The No-Star Race.
First, you get all of your usual All-Star Race contenders and get them to pay the entry fee: the price of a Legends car! Then you give them 50 laps of the frontstretch bullring at Charlotte to HAVE AT IT with their RIVALS in cars they own. Maybe even let the winner compete in the main event, which is... The No-Star (or One-Star?) Race. Basically the Open, only it pays a million bucks. And there's an inversion at halftime.
Or maybe it pays $200K with a million-dollar bounty on the Star?

Have NASCAR throw a caution every time the leader gets ahead by one second.

That should guarantee an amazing finish every time!

Edwards and Keselowski are the only Cup regs in the Nationwide race today. Could be a great chance for a special winner today if they can hold those two off.

Terrible All-Star race. Glad I went to my local Saturday haunt instead and watched this junk on tape. There have been many excellent All-Star races at Charlotte so I'm not sure the track is the problem. I believe most of the problems with the racing are due to the car (duh) but there are a couple other problems.

1) There are a lot of fans that remember how the racing, and Nascar as a whole, used to be back in the early to late 90's that feel like that's how it should be and are disappointed that it's not. Unfortunately, I do not believe we'll ever get back to that, for a lot of reasons.
2) The consolidation of power within 4 teams has really put a hurting on Nascar.

I don't have capping equipment, but I do have a camera that does HD video, so I'll put up a recording of my TV screen. It'll be high def! Technically... :p

Edit -- Here we go. I'll put a downloadable version in the Crash Videos section.
