That incident notwithstanding, Earl is still a piece of shit.

I watched the Bobby Allison Bio program on speed. Such a sad story. Losing your memory of the finish of that Daytona 500. Then the career ending crash at Pocano. Then losing your sons in such tragic situations just breaks your heart. Plus his marriage fell apart, but they got back together.

I assume there will be a competition caution for the Cup race, about lap 40-50?

Pretty frightening accident there, thankfully he didn't completely go over.

Apparently Brad Keselowski had this to say on Twitter

Quote:
Sticking to my post race Comments. 60 ran over 20 intentionally (yes I no there was no contact, it's called an air pocket)

He's been replying back and forth with other people following him. He continues to insist that Carl did it intentionally lol.

Also:

Damn, just saw 18 incur. Even madder now! Clearly audible he gasses up and drove thru us. He has one coming from me!

Doubt anything will come of this, but it might be something to watch out for.

ARCA qualifying from Toledo was rained out, and with the lineup set by 2010 owner points, Milka Duno will start on the pole. God help us all.

Dover has been its usual wild self (with some good racing inbetween all the crazyness) this weekend so if the Cup race sucks you can only blame the COT for stinking the place out and not the other way round .

They've already had some great COT racing at Dover before though. The fall race in 2008 was incredible.

All the Roush cars touching, rubbing, switching lanes; that was a great race.

Concrete Carl...

Because racing him's like hitting a concrete wall?

As much of a Keselowski fan as I am, I can't agree with the tweets he sent out. Clearly an accident and he knows he would do the same exact thing with two laps to go if he's in Carl's shoes (and I still fucking hate Carl).

Darrel Waltrip makes a very good point about "Have at it?" Am I high?

I can't agree with Keselowski's tweets either. I thought contact had to be involved in order for a wreck to be even considered to be intentional. I'm sure Logano lost air off his spoiler but that would have happened no matter who was under him in that instance. I don't see where Carl Edwards did anything wrong yesterday. Edwards was doing what he was supposed to do and that was racing for the win. He raced Logano clean and based on the handshake between the two of them while Logano was still in his car, there isn't any hard feelings between the two of them.
