Doesn't make any sense.

Look I know the ACO has done questionable things in the past to Peugeot's advantage.

I just don't see it here.

The Safety Car holding the Peugeots gained 80 seconds on the Audi. I see it.

But it wouldn't be Le Mans without the ACO trying to gift the victory to Peugeot.

We can smell it a mile off eh?

Looks like the ACO playing funny buggers with the Safety Cars didn't go unnoticed nby Audi. Lotterer immediately turns the wick up and goes fastest.

lol ellis is bitter

Anyway Dave, it's gone back and forth all race with the safety cars, the Peugeots got screwed during Rocky's yellow, losing about 90 seconds.

They lost 90 seconds by being caught behind another SC. During the last SC session, the Peugeot SC was actually lapping faster and released first. The problem with live timing is everybody sees exactly what's going on. ;)

Not sure how it's bitter, pointing out the ACO aren't straight shooters. Every sportscar fan in the world knows that lol.

Its funny but also depressing that the only Aston in the race at all now is the Lola. I guess some guys at Lola might be a little smug given how they parted ways.

I agree, they usually show some favouritism in the French cars such as the Norma or WR (as in the past) there are other well established teams but they want to support the French teams.

I have checked out the AMR website and there are very little coverage of the rubbish LMP1 cars and they have started to cover the other Aston Martin cars from the different classes!

The 88 has been in so many accidents that it's hard to tell if it's a new accident it's just had. He looked rather happy for a man with a destroyed car.

True but it's 8th overall at the moment, which is fantastic.

He's rich, he doesn't care since it's just pocket money in terms of damage to him.
