Guys I hope I"m wrong when I say this,

But enjoy Le Mans as you know it and enjoy these cars as you know it.

I have a feeling the ACO is going to put a chicane before Indianapolis and neuter the cars more for next year.

I think ACO will keep it but FIA could force them to install chicane like what they did in 1990 as the FIA treated to drop Le Mans because of safety along the Hunaudieres Straight.

For people who can't spell the fabled straight, this might help you - Hunaudieres.

The OnBoard we saw showed him hit the wall head-on.

You can see on the static cam and the onboard, it was headon.

The cockpit wouldn't shatter and the camera wouldn't die from a rearwards impact.

the weird thing is, besides these two unbelievable crashes, for the rest it had been a fairly crashless race so far.

You are right, I'm going by initial reports here mostly. I think I'm a couple minutes behind the US and Europe here.

Exactly what I was thinking. Hope for another angle. It doesn't show the impact

Seems like that CCTV shot should have had a perfect angle of the impact.

Anybody remember the Eurosport commercial with the flipping prototype? They knew something bad would happen.
