So, so, so excited, could barely sleep last night (though that is partially because I was forced to take refuge on an airbed thanks to visiting relatives). Here's hoping for a safe race - I'll be up for all 24 hours but will be popping in and out of various MSN chats and forum post extravaganzas.

Joining the spate of "I invite you to give a shit about my Le Mans preperations" posts, I've had exactly three hours sleep so already feel knackered, so I'm probably resigned to not making the full 24 hours despite all the red bull I have stocked up.

Will probably catch a few zzzzzzzz's when the overnight action turns into the pitlane show.
I've heard there will be a helicopter about tonight, but I imagine that's got to scoot off and refuel at some point so while it's a nice idea there will hopefully be a sleep window in for me in there somewhere.

Considering this weekend also has the Canadian GP it's not just 24 hours we have to make. If you include pocono in that too it's got to be somewhere in the 30s!

Which is surprising really as Motors TV are probably more obsessed with Le Mans that Eurosport, they just can't afford it, so you'd think they'd bend over backwards to show whatever footage they could get their hands on...

Not going to even try full 24 hours. If something happens during the night, it's not going to caught on cameras anyway and I want to avoid the "I'm so tired, I wish this was over already" during the last couple of hours. Potentially really exciting last couple of hours. Repeat of 1969 pls.

As much as I love Prodrive and Aston Martin, I'm tired of hearing about them being on a 3 year plan to win Le Mans. Unless year 2 is buying an HPD ARX-01e, then it won't be happening.
