They have a "push to pass" system, so the lights are the number of times the driver still ca use it, when it uses you can see the light flashing

Just a question: is there any European coverage for the Formula Nippon?

Few years ago I saw the highlights, but now nothing!

Thanks. :)

Not that I know of. Since last year, there's an official stream channel but it's pay-per-view. The only thing I've found are short highlight clips on Youtube (like 5 minutes clips with music).

The Season begins the April 15th at Suzuka. Looks like Takuma Sato will run some selected races this year.

Yes, propably only 2 or 3 races, most of the season races collide with Indycar dates... by the way, this season will be the season with the most cars since the new Swift chassis entered the series in 2009, it will be 18 cars when Sato is there and 17 when he's not. We will have champions in this season, Matsuda (07,08), Duval (09), Oliveira (10) and Lotterer (11), the season is going to be great!

The WEC races won't collide with the F-Nippon races, so he can do every single race this season, last year he missed Autopolis because of the Le Mans 24H. He just missed the pre season tests at Fuji due to the WEC, but the season is fine.

Formula Nippon will change its name for 2013 season, a name suggestion process is open in Japan, people can send postcards with their name option, the prize is a pair of paddock tickets for the whole 2013 season, plus a Honda or Toyota car.
