Magnessun pulled out because he's still feeling the effects of his Macau crash. Jaafar will be replacing him.

I'm really starting to become a fan of Yuhi Sekiguchi.

Never heard of him.

Carlos Jr. seems to be on pace fairly quick, as is his Eurocup 2.0 title rival.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Won Japanese F3 title, and from looking at some of the GT300 race at the Fuji Sprint Cup, he's a determined racer. Bit older than I thought and probably won't make it to F1, but exciting nonetheless. He'll also test with Mucke in GP3 I think.

Although I'm fairly disappointed in Campana's times.

Someone give Stanaway a top seat. F1 will beckon for that man.

Hmm, Vanthoor pretty far down in the ranks. He's already wasted a useless F3-year in 2011, sadly. (how come he's not on that list posted above, btw?)
Vandoorne P9 though, that's good!

I wonder how much "extra support" Carlos Sainz Jr. has in 3.5. :p A long conversation with the teamboss of FR 2.0 outfit KTR a couple of months ago made it clear that a lot of teams (apart from Sainz's of course) suspected some fishy stuff going on there, especially concerning tyres.

Anyone heard anything on todays running?

Trying to find out how Dean Stoneman got on, during his return to the cockpit.

Richie will be a title contender if he is in FR 3.5. They are using the new cars, right?

Richie topped the morning session, but only managed 8 laps on old tyres in the afternoon session before the driveshaft failed, but he was still only 0.2 off the fastest time so if he had the chance to use his new tyres it would probably have been all 6 sessions in P1 for him... but 5/6 still ain't bad

Could this year's FR 3.5 be even better than last years?

Well it might be if they found a broadcaster that could film the races competently, yeah...

Only just realised that there's no British round on the 2012 calendar :(

The veterinary world at least, even though every single practice management system is more than capable of coping with emailed files. We even scan faxed documents to put them onto the system, it's so backwards...
