Well..

Casey Stoner ‏@Official_CS27
Can't believe they gave Marc Marquez a 1min penalty!! Another reason why this championship needs some sorting out! I've seen much worse.

Maybe this has been said already, but I have to say that both Dovi and Crutchlow have easily been the riders of the year so far in MotoGP.

True, the whole Tech 3 team stepped up their game. Really hope to see Crutchlow getting on the podium soon.

In the past years Tech 3 have been in and around the top 6 and sometimes top 3 but not on a consistent basis, and normally only with one rider (Spies in 2010 for instance). This year the team seem to be able to sustain a competitive challenge with both riders and challenge for top 3 positions at each race. Here's hoping they can maintain that.

Well, there is only 12 prototypes this year, Repsol back with the two bikes, Gresini is going backwards, Spies struggling big time, so it shoudnt be a surprise at all that Tech 3 guys are always near the podium. Good job by them, but It's not like they made a huge leap forward

Let's not try to diminish what Tech 3 are actually achieving. It is very easy to point out the obvious of a Gresini (prototype) bike missing and Spies struggling. But when you actually look at the lap times and the gap between both Tech 3 riders and the front of the field you will see they are performing much more capably this year than in previous seasons and have made a good step forward in performance.

I think it's also showing that the Yamaha is a very good bike this year, and as it has been for the past few seasons, seems to be incredibly ride-able - hence Jorge's supreme consistency and the fact that he's able to pick people off at the end of races when they're struggling with worn tyres and a slightly worn out rider, the Yamaha is able to keep both in reserve a little better.
