Mitch Evans is amazingly good. He has to be the best and biggest hope for New Zealand for an F1 driver, it's great Mark Webber has noticed already and is willing to guide him. He's going to be good in years to come.

Sure he is good but I think Richie Stanaway is the biggest hope for a Formula 1 seat.

Fantastic GP3 Qualifying session by the way !! Lots of grid penalty coming...

Both Mitch and Richie are very impressive, i've been following both since they were in Formula Ford (hence my avatar) and both realistically have a good shot of getting into F1, Mitch however has quite a bit of cash behind him, is still only 16 and of course has Mark Webber as his mentor, Richie is with gravity which should see him in a good position especially if he keeps dominating championships like he is at the moment.

If your interested here's a NZ Formula Ford race from the 08/09 season where there is a great battle between the two... it's at Pukekohe btw 8) http://www.darcyf1.com/juihi/Formula_Fo ... Race_3.avi

Only if it's from backing, because Mitch i would say is much more talented. Mitch is only 16 too remember. Watching them in Australia racing in formula ford it was quite clear that Mitch was no match really. But Richie i must say has done well in German F3 so far, so must give him credit. Maybe they will meet up again in gp2 down the line.

Michael Christensen did not set a time after having a session to forget. He lost his left rear wheel on his first run, and his session came to an end after he smashed into a fire extinguisher as he went to leave the pits for a second attempt.

Now thats bad luck

Man this track sucks. Why is there a chicane before the start finish straight ? Makes it even worse.
