Like the GT4 European Cup evolved... It's more a benelux GT4 Cup now.

There's too many series about and sadly this is one that's bitten the bullet.

Unlike Champ Cars/A1GP, it died before the new car.

Tooooooo many single seater formulas, not nearly enough interest. Especially in ones based on gimmicks.

Horrible concept, great cars.

I hope these machines can be shipped over to Auto GP, maybe then they'll get the recognition they deserve AND Auto GP could put on some decent racing for once.

Only if, eh...

Easily the best single-seaters I've seen live. Too bad.

Its a shame this series has gone under. It always produced great racing. I was always a bit sceptical of the idea of having so many races outside Europe this year, it just didnt seem right

there's just way too many series that pretend to be the next big thing after F1... I'd rather have all of these combined in to one series, with a 30 car grid, lots of spectators etc instead of all these ill fated attempts.

I liked the concept, If well managed, it could have had a brilliant future. It's another fail attempt we could blame bad administration, poor marketing projects, poor media support (TV networks and etc). I suspect that If they had taken that idea left by A1GP, the one of doing races off-season, perhaps they could live longer. Don't know why they haven't woke up for that tip.

Motorsports is becoming a horrible financial business...If we look back, how many things similar to that we've seen? It's not only A1GP, remember Grand Prix Masters, SpeedCar Series, ChampCar and the list goes on. Thing is, you can't compete with F1...it's an uncontested leader on its concept, there is no concurrence...at least not in the same continent and not in the same time (maybe F1's off-season). All these series aims the same public and F1 pulverizes already all the market.

Why do the series with good racing run into trouble and the ones with boring races do fine (I'm looking at you DTM :x )

Well this one was based on a stupid concept and didn't fit into the ladder anywhere, which meant this was always going to happen. Great racing, poor concept.

Yeah, it's a shame they're putting money into the A1GP revival when there's all those ex SLF cars sitting about somewhere waiting to put on great racing.

Hell, there could be a great Euroboss like series out there that raced old SLF, A1GP, Champcar, GP2 1st generation, WSBR etc out there.

No need for equivalency bullshit, just call it a class system and let the fastest win and off you go!
