It's more ThorSport leaving ARCA than Kimmel leaving ThorSport.

Apparently Kimmel is moving to Win-Tron with his Menards sponsorship, the same team he ran against for the championship in 2013.

As for Thorsport, they are selling all of their ARCA equipment, per Charles Krall.

Just watched the Tim Steele vid. Man, that brought back some memories. Atlanta was a cruel bitch when they first repaved it.

Also, what channel are the ARCA TV races going to be on? FS1 or NBCSN?

Fox Sports 1 and 2, so far. No word if NBCSN is coming back or not.

Terry Jones is testing Win-Tron's car at Daytona.

Dave Darland is going to be testing a car at Daytona. He's testing an Andy Hillenburg car. Travis Braden and Dan Fredrickson are also testing cars for Hillenburg's team.

Ken Schrader will field a full-time car next year. He'll have driving duty for 10 races, Matt Tift for 8, and Clay Campbell for Daytona and Talladega.

Jon Wes Townley was the fastest in both ARCA test sessions today. 58 drivers tested today. All of the Cunningham Motorsports cars were fast in both sessions, no matter who was in them. Chase Elliott was one driver I was surprised to not find near the top of the speed charts. He was 17th in the AM session and 25th in the PM session.

In the AM test session yesterday, Michael Self, who ran in the K&N West series last year, was the fastest in the session in a Venturini Motorsports entry. 50 drivers participated in the session.

In the PM session, Justin Boston was the fastest, edging Donnie Allison's grandson, Justin Allison. Boston turned the fastest lap in the closing minutes of the session. 65 drivers turned laps during the session.

The Venturini Motorsports cars, the Cunningham Motorsports cars and Howard Bixman's 2 cars have been near the top of the speed charts in each session so far.

I feel like it's shaping up to be a pretty good race come February.

Bobby Gerhart stops for gas on lap 3 and makes it the rest of the way and wins.

Spoiler:
I don't know if there are any plans for Chris Buescher running the ARCA race in Daytona.

Also, Frank Kimmel will apparently be running the #44 Menard's Toyota next year, the only difference is that Win-Tron Racing is fielding the entry, instead of Thorsport.

Remember when Frank Kimmel's ARCA car made it it into one of the NASCAR Thunder games?

The fucked up part is HE WON RACES in my game.

Frank Kimmel, NASCAR Winston Cup race winner.

What year? He ran a few Cup races in 2002 with sponsorship from his ARCA team.
