2 Minor wrecks at the start, seemed to be poetic justice though, the cars that caused the incidents were also wiped out by them

Reminds me a bit of Viso´s crash in Magny Cours 2007

Similar cause in those accidents, drivers still racing for positions when SC is deployed, then their reaction time to that is different and there's more serious crash.

or they just didn't know, it's hard to see those SC signs, was in a simialar shunt at Brands once when the equivalent back then of the SC was called but only the first few saw the signs, the rest didn't and a pretty big pileup happened, not every driver/team has ship to shore radio at this level.
