Did anybody buy the season pass on WEC.com? If it offers on-demand playback of the races, I'm probably going to subscribe.

Eurosport is only broadcasting the last hour or so of the race this time. Guess they were just looking forward to get rid of the tv coverage of non-Le Mas events.

You can find the full races, in HD, on youtube few days after, though.

Apparently, the only thing that is, currently, available only for mobiles is onboard cameras feed.

Btw, anybody there today or nearby? I wonder if will it rain for FP2 too

I have not bought but apparently there is no on-demand. Giant thread on Ten-tenths:

An average of 2-3 layers will be necessary. Depending on sudden microclimate, a 4th layer can be advised as back-up.

Yes, I know, but that's "unofficial" stuff :)

I wanted on demand replays to be able to watch the asian races with uncomfortable time zone differences shortly after they're finished.

And I don't mind a stable HD stream.

Best coverage ever !! :8:

Having access to 10 onboards at the same time (we can switch between Audi's, Porsche's & Toyota's whenever you want) + world feed coverage. So Nice!!! Even FOM can't do that so far. I guess the FIA WEC application is worth its price.

Saw a brief footage which will be on their official application, wasn't hard.

Yes, I see why the qualifying format has been criticized. I'm confused, and the live timing doesn't help much. So far at least, since not many have completed 4 laps yet. I'm open minded.

I just can't believe how good the coverage is... I didn't expect it for 2014 and it's so great it's available on mobile & the web.

Sure you have to pay but that's worth it. Hopefully F1 will have something like that in the future for the web (but main problem might be the tv deals).

I know MotoGP is going to have it next season (multiple onboards & web coverage) and it's surely a massive boost to get more viewers.
