Pffft, word.

Went over there this morning with a massive cold and stuffed with a box of Dafalgan (paracetamol). Couldn't breathe through my nose and was coughing every 2 minutes.

Now home with 38°C fever even after taking 3 pills over the course of the day.

Fuck you, weather.

Preparing myself for a cold aswell, my feet have been soaked all day long...

I would also like to mention the rallying bit I pulled off when my car was about to get stuck on one of those parking fields. Needless to say, I was in for a shock when I got out and had a look at what I had caused.

It was wet but I never had rain during the race so it was better than I had expected. And you have to know the right people and invite yourself in a pitbox during the rain :D
The race was boring though if you don't have a giant screen in front of you.

At least not at RFM yet... I'd wait for the full version anyway.

From dailysportscar regarding Toyota's shakedown of their new car at Magny-Cours:

Quote:
Our sources also indicate that the Toyota is currently some 70 bhp down on the Audi.

That'd make it the weakest P1 petrol engine by some way, and worse than the old Toyota engine in the Rebellion. There's no way it's *that* far off. Is it being measured against the Audi including the flywheel on full discharge too?

Strange. I recall Graham Goodwin saying he had info on Toyota being almost on par with Audi during the race broadcast.

Let's just hope the TS030 won't be another AMR-One.

Are there video highlights of the Spa race available anywhere? They only seem to put qualifying clips on the website.
