They are blaming lack of spars for the withdrawal. So either they've made massive advancements on the car since the launch, or there's another problem. Maybe the mechanical failure which caused the accident isn't an easy fix.

Officially, the accident was caused by water in the electronics, and they don't have a spare monocoque yet.

About Wittmer, I think it is a deserving reward for keeping Dodge relevant in road racing when there was very few prepared or willing to answer the call. He's earned the chance I think.

Looks as though MotorsTV will show the entire Spa 1000KM live

Not sure wehther I'll go or not, Audi is going to run away at the front. Was hoping for Toyota to spice things up a bit, or atleast see their new car in action...

Such a badly timed VT piece as while it was playing out everyone on track decided to run in to one another or sychronise spin.... :8:

Bah. It's bad enough that ALMS and nascar keep taking ad breaks at the same time, but now they've even managed to time their first full course cautions together. :p

And I've just turned on the Hindy/Shaw cam. Not going to be able to watch the race now

Hindy has said that plenty of times.

Audi have signed Marc Gene as a reserve driver for LM. He'll race in the Spa 6 hours.

Rumour is the public launch will be at Le Mans but I've no idea if there's any truth to that.

I'm going to assume free means iTunes or some other service and possibly US-only like last time. Pure .mp4 would be nice, but I really doubt that...

Jason Statham is mentioned as the narrator on the website. Boohoo.
