Risi Competizione won't be at Sebring this year.

Why did they spend money on the Grand-Am cars and running Daytona when they don't have funding for Sebring?

I don't know.

New audi Livery looks great. Now if ALMS would get smart and Jump back to SpeedTV so we could watch the race that would really be great.

Just kind of strange that they tested at Sebring two weeks before announcing they weren't entering. Even worse they were fastest in three of the four sessions. At least we get to see more of the Risi drivers with AF Corse and Matos is in an LMPC. :(

Awesome liveries, they should have done this a long time ago instead of the horrible paint job of 2010 for example, but I hate that blatant quattro branding. It's just "bla bla bla" marketing BS to my ears.

Why was "Ultra", "TDI" and "FSI" on the R18/R15/R10/R8 any better? :p

Ultra doesn't refer to specific technology per se and at least the engines are diesel engines and R8 had direct direction, unlike this "quattro" which isn't really an AWD. Also it is of course historically much more well known. Altough Audi seem to do stretch the term in their road cars too in the same way...

I can already hear the Audi driver's repeating the audir18etronquattrowiththetdiengine in every sentence in every interview. :yuk:

Ultra is now the brand they use for the lightweight technology that they were pimping on the side of the R18s. This car might not be AWD in the traditional sense, but it's certainly for 4 wheels driven by the power outlets, and that's AWD, and Audi call that Quattro. If this hybrid system makes its way to the road cars, then it'll be called E-Tron Quattros there no doubt.

I know, but difference is that diesel is diesel and direct injection is direct injection, but "lightweight" is specifically what? And until now, it wasn't wasn't part of the freakin' official name of the car, just an ad basically.

Peugeot's hybrid was "Hybrid4" even though the electric motor was on the rear, so that was even more lame.
