Two wheels on the grass, front splitter instantly disappeared under the car:

And off it went into a spin:

I didn't take a picture of it facing the wrong way.

I missed that spin (at Paddock Hill).. but you guys got some good pics

I have about 800 to sort through!!

Spirits were a bit low... They all went out and had a big slap up meal and too much beer last night... Me and Jason had a take out and a couple of (Very Pricey) Becks!!
(But we did finish off the last of the Mogan Spice too!!)

Well it's the last meeting of the year for the Bollox that is the FUNCUP series..
Only a few points cover the top 3 in the championship and I know the 3 teams are a bit nervous going into the last..
Should be a great race, 3 cars treading careful so they don't get wrecked and miss the chance to score points and others going all out to win!
There are a couple of TBK members going but if anyone else fancies making the trip to the North West let me know and I'll see if I can organise a ticket or two!

If I didn't have to work it would have been a nice excuse to make my first ever trip to Oulton. Oh well, enjoy it!

It's not completely devoid of it and the 3 places (outside of old hall, outside just before Knickerbrook and outside at Lodge) but the places it is are on the outside of the track and the best viewing is from the inside, apart from up at hilltop and the hairpin.
With a pass there are a few places you can get too close to the track (as seen in pics above) one is at the top of Dear Leap where the cars pass a couple of foot away and the other is the exit of Knickerbrook Chicane. But for the most part having a pass only gets you to a few places where you couldn't normally get good pictures from unlike some tracks on the calendar (Snetterton)

Where was this one taken Eddy? Did you need a pass to get to that location?

Fraid not mate.. That's it!
(do have the end of season party in 2weeks though!)
Not seen the provisional for next year yet but at the AGM JPR did say that they will be looking at some more double headers again this year on bank holiday weekends .. Poss Coft and Anglesey.. Looking at Donington too!
A lot of teams want to do Brands again as it's good for customers/sponsors from London.
And they are hoping to do a two dayer or at least a 6 hour race at Zandvoort too, inviting some Belgian and French teams, making it a "euro" race.
Even talk of bookending the season with meetings at Oulton Park, I'd love that as it's 3miles from my house!!!

Ah cool. I've never been to a race that goes into the night, so hoping there might be one of those next season! Definitely try and make the Snetterton round(s) again though.
