Who else is going? I'm going to the Nurburgring this year, with two friends. For the fist time not alone :) Going for the T4 grandstand again. Cost me a little more than €300,-

As much as I tell myself that I want to go to Silverstone this year (went in 2005, 2006 and 2007) I think budget issues might stop it happening. Mortgages are no fun :(.

I am considering it but all tickets for raceday for Silverstone are over £100 now. And Spa tickets are even more expensive

Ticket prices are ridiculous. It's unbelievable anyone goes these days

I did the British GP last year, and generally only do F1 races every four years, so nothing for me for a while.

I might go to Nürburgring as well. Still not sure. You have to pay a lot to get a "decent" view if you compare it to Hockenheim. Hockenheim is pretty cheap and has nice grandstands close to the track. But Nürburgring doesn't convince. The view from most of the grandstands is just acceptable and for "normal good view" you have to pay 300+. Definitely not worth as I want to go to Hockenheim 2010 again. But I would love to go this year, too. I'm gonna see.

That's quite cheap compared to what you have to pay here. E.G Weekend Ticket Nürburgring, T4 (Turn 1)...well, just under 500€ for one person. Ever wondered why Hockenheim looked so empty last year, especially in the stadium sections?

No thanks, I rather buy DTM Weekend Tickets, around 50 € for the best seats and you actually see more racing at all.

I don't blame you at all. BTCC tickets are even less and you get a lot more racing for that. GA at Silverstone for the BGP would be nearly 10 times as much as BTCC at Thruxton even though it's still sitting on a banking watching motor racing

A press ticket for the Singapore GP wouldn't be bad! :P

Costs about $160 for a 4 day gen admission pass to Albert Park for a student I think, not bad until you also realise they charge a small fortune for food and drinks. Was thinking of going but decided against it for this season.

Well, you have to expect that really. That's the case with all race meetings. Easy solution - take your own food and drinks (unless they search you...)

Can't remember that ever being an issue at Silverstone. They did the bag checking thing obviously (was particularly strict in 2005 as the race was a few days after the London bombing) but I seem to recall that you're allowed your own food and drink.

I'm not paying that much money for a race just because it's F1. For the price of a normal grandstand ticket in Spa you can visit every other race in Spa & Zolder for the rest of the year. Better deal IMO

F1 tickets are a joke. I'm going to Le Mans again.

I paid 365€ at Valencia, T8. Very expensive, althought I've enjoyed the experience a lot because it was the first time going to a GP.

I'm going to Monza, not for the race but for quals and gp2 race. Saturday is the best day of the weekend

I've never been top a GP before, and my wallet tells me to keep it that way.

If you're an F1 fan then I would recommend at least going to one - I wasn't particularly bothered until I went in 2005, but the whole atmosphere at Silverstone over the weekend was something really special. If you and a few friends get some tickets and go for the three days it's great fun.

I really wanted to do Spa this year but i'm not sure if it's possible because my work are stupid with holiday. So Silverstone is probably the more likely option.

Then again, i had so much fun at Monaco last year that i might try and do that again :) (450euros though. eep!) Monza is also high on the list of races i want to go to.

To go to a GP, the closer i can go is Sao Paulo. The flight ticket cost around US$300, so that's 600 just to get there and return, and i don't know how much is the ticket at the racetrack. I can't afford that, even when i save the money of the passport, because i don't need it to go to Brazil.

I have been to Turkish GP in last three years and hope to go this year as well. I hope I can go :)
