halfway through the long summerbreak. Spa will feel like the start of a new season. Can't wait to be back, first time since 07.

I'll be there too, Saturday and Sunday (bronze ticket).

I have bronze too. I'm still doubting which positions to take, both for Saturday and Sunday. Saturday, provided it's dry, I'd like to focus on taking photos.

Can't beat Eau Rouge fence on Saturday. Phenomenal watching the cars come through there in the wet (which, being Spa, is almost guaranteed). Kemmel straight is good for high-speed pics and Rivage is great for close ups of the drivers working their wheels.

No, you just climb the fence and hope they don't throw a red flag for spectators in a dangerous area ;)

What is the fastest way from the big circle (entrance) to the small circle?

It's walking round the outer edge of the track. We came in there , but if you come in further round then it's easier. So follow the campsite road past the les combes entrance clockwise, next entrance is what nea and i used. He will correct me if I remember wrong, we had drunk a lot but i am quite sure.

There's definitely a tunnel under the track at Les Combes.

Our campsite was about a mile south of La Source. No wonder it took an eternity to find you at Les Combes!

I guess if you're guaranteed to meet drivers and get close to the cars then it's a pretty good deal. Just for comparison, I paid about $700 just for a Sunday ticket at Monaco a few years ago. Just for a good seat, no pit lane stuff. And about $700 for a 3 day pass at Spa last year. $500 to go in the pits sounds like a steal, but then your tickets seem amazing value. $60 for the weekend? Yes please!

Although you might be posting in Aussie dollars, and I have no idea how they compare to US. :p

I paid €105 for a weekend in general admission (bronze) in Spa. Parking, camping and food not included.
