I only watched 2 races this season, so why should I bother taking the quiz. :p

I attempted the quiz, gave up. I'll try it again once I've got a pen and paper on hand

It's meant to be difficult :p

Oh, and corrected Ceccon to Korjus. Got a tad confused.

42% And I had just watched the season review Blu-ray. This wasn't a quiz about knowledge though, too many answers relied on mathematics. Questions should have been "what position did driver x finish at race y" Not "how many minutes difference was there between longest and shortest race" (which I did answer correctly though)

40%. Very very difficult! I like that you managed to get Alice into one of the possible answers though. :p

If I may be so bold, I will give the prize of a firm hand shake follow by a pat on the back. Phil, I hope you approve.

Yup :p

Okay, I'll make it easier next year :p But anyone who gets Autosport, try their Festive Fever quiz and you'll find mine easy!

And sorry Chris, but having to upload and edit 50 questions several times, misspelling a single word isn't too bad

Well I got %34.33 on the autosport quiz and %34 on yours so I'd say there about the same level of difficultness. How do you manage to come up with all of those questions and the answers? It must take quite a bit of time.. But thanks its always fun!

Trawling through places like FORIX and Pirelli's data too. Results and some other 'facts' pages too. Using some misc facts to create questions.

What took most time was adding and testing the quiz add-on to Wordpress (although that's not my division!).

Paddy Lowe regarding DRS:

Quote:
"What's great [about DRS is] at least we can move on from this debate of trying to change the aerodynamic characteristics of cars to try to improve overtaking," added Lowe.

"We've found something much more authoritative, much cheaper, easier and more effective, and adjustable from race to race."

Is from here:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/andrewbenson ... 2/drs.html

So DRS looks to have gone from a temporary solution to something which will be around more long term

I'd rather a real fix that allows better racing than a band-aid that simply generates passing.

good luck, they've been trying for years and failed badly, Formula One is about innovation and change and DRS is just a part of it.

Some New Year's Honours for motorsport this time around.

Nigel Mansell becomes a CBE, Adrian Newey becomes an OBE, and whilst not strictly motorsport Clive James also becomes a CBE.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.
