Why can't they just go to Potrero de los Funes?

As far as I know, it's been licensed as FIA grade 2, which allows anything apart from F1 to race there.

That circuit looks pathetic. I'm not a fan. I'd rather see F1 go back to Buenos Aires than construct a track that would provide even less entertainment.

HRT news (Interview with Luis Perez-Sala):
- One step back, two steps forward for 2012: They expect to struggle at the start of 2012 in order for long term gain
- Can't see massive progression possible until 2014 and the new regulations, but hopes to be closer in 2013
- Naming of 2012 2nd driver won't be until the New Year, but they are in talks with several drivers.

I hope no new circuits are ever built again for F1. It's just getting painful to look at.

Bernie and his new "circuits" are killing the F1, but remember; he will die first...

on the picture it looks like all the spectators are climbing up the tower on the down right side and on the cars park there is an optical illusion.

It may be a shit circuit, but at least they are thinking of going to a country that actually has a big motorsport and F1 history. Plus it's closer to where I live than Brazil, so I may actually go if it happens.

I would rather seeing them on Potrero obviously. Plus it's even closer to home lol.

I wonder why all circuits have to look so modern and clean.....it's very weird...why we don't see more circuits like Spa, the old Imola, Suzuka, Elkhart Lake, Laguna Seca and etc? :x

because track designers have to deal with all kind of regulations coming from the FIA.

And some of those old tracks are slowly losing their charme because of "upgrades". Spa and Imola are a great example of that...

It will be nice if they come back here to Argentina, and better will be they can use the Track at Rio Hondo, that will receive MotoGP in 2013, i live at 80 km of there, otherwise if they go to Buenos Aires i live 1000 Km away,(for every European this may be a long distance, here is the distance we have to do to go to Buenos Aires, and usually i did it in my car)

All these new tracks just look the same, it's just boring and there really is no character. Pity.

There doesn't look to be many overtaking places on that track
