"There have been just two exceptional drivers this year," a team boss (whose identity shall remain secret but you can be assured that his outfit has won both races and championships in recent years) threw my way during a conversation in Singapore last weekend.

"Sebastian and Jenson. They have been simply brilliant this year. No one would have guessed before the season that it would be like that, especially for Jenson. Giving Lewis overtaking lessons at Monza – great job."

Interesting point. Button has been brilliant this year, when many expected him to get beaten by Lewis.

It was Christian Horner who said that. The only thing is: Jenson might have more points this season, but judging by speed Hamilton just owns him. If Hamilton can reduce the amount of incidents, he's back in front. Even with a bad car, whereas Jenson's more like the princess on the pea, if this analogy exists in english.

Common sense says you don't use DRS through 130R

I remember see the Red Bull using the DRS through Blanchimont. During the race the speed at this corner is aprox 300.

I think Red Bull(and others top teams) can use DRS through 130R, but i'd prefer see the DRS closed forever and ever.

Regards.

Another from the 'shit you couldn't make up' file;

-In Singapore Renault were ordered by Gillette (one of their sponsors) to force all their staff to shave or Gillette would withdraw their sponsorship.

I would have gotten the team in trouble then as I only use an electric razer....I don't trust myself with a sharp blade close to my neck.... :tumble:

Seems to be about a Kimi story/hour coming out of somewhere. Latest from Finland is that Williams were keen on Kovalainen, but after Raikkonen showed interest, the team are now doing everything they can to secure his services

Adam Parr is currently operating at the DAX in Frankfurt trying to trade Williams shares for those in Haagen-Daas and Absolut.

I know, I know, low-hanging fruit, I apologise.

That's just plain stupid so called joke.

First of all, Valio makes finnish ice cream and second Koskenkorva is the spirit of Finland.

I fear Ross Brawn is starting to make the same mistakes that Nick Fry did.
