Maybe Pat got Weirdy Beardy or the ruskies to fork over more funding in return for his services.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Sounds like the Russians aren't impressed by the slow progress. I'd have liked to see the CFD only programme have another season but clearly the Marussia people want a car that can show well come the Russian GP in 2014. They don't want a national team being at the tail end at their national GP.

Just read that Rosberg could be extending his contract with Mercedes for 5 years with a total of €80 million.

they could opt for Lola.

Then again, no-one thought HRT had the resources and right now their car seems to have more potential than the Virgin.

Well, HRT have the advantage of having a premade car from a proven manufacturer. They may have spent a year slagging it off, but they've stuck with it and only made minor changes. It was never a bad car, just HRT were a joke. Virgin at least were making there own stuff, even if it was contracted to Wirth.

Lola would be cool, but I don't see them going that way. I'd rather Swift get involved and once they are in F1, use this to influence diffuser designs and rules.

I would do 2 things to improve Q3.

Firstly get rid of the rule making the top 10 start on the tyres they qualify on & then I'd give anyone who makes Q3 2 sets of a special 1-lap qualifying tyre which will give a ton of grip but only last 1 lap.

With 2 sets you get 2 runs & we get to see an awesome end to qualifying with the cars at there fastest & the drivers with a ton of grip to push the cars to the limit, Just like qualifying from the 80s/early 90s when we used to have 1-lap, super grippy qualifying tyres.

Just give points for qualifying, that way they have to go for pole and use their tyres.

If you gave 5 points for pole or something then Vettels lead would just be unstoppable at this point already. :P

He lives in Monaco and therefore has a lot of money. Don't think many on this forum can say that. So don't laugh too hard :p

I don't know anything about the guy, but reading this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taki_Inoue he doesn't sound that bad, more just comically unlucky. He could outpace Max Papis for what it's worth.

Oh yeah, there's far worse than Inoue, its just mainly the comic value.

Although why we all find the same guy being run over twice in one year funny, I don't know. It just is :p

Was it Inoue's car that managed to get flipped over by a crane at Monaco? Or did I just imagine that?

Ah yes, just seen it on the Wiki article. Poor guy.
