They should start by adding some gravel traps and some grass.

Would surely help the scenery.

No point in changing it - these sort of tracks where everything is designed specifically for overtaking generally turn out rubbish. So more changes won't help. Keep it like it is, and if the new Pirelli tyres work then keep Abu Dhabi.

With tracks like Bahrain, which are not only unpopular but extremely bland and featureless, there is a good argument for removing them from the Calender. At least Abu Dhabi tries to bring something else to the table. The only changes I'd make to the circuit are a better run to the hairpin at the start of the lap, and grass which punishes mistakes.

Bernie, when asked about the breakaway threat

"Oh yes, we all know Montezemolo's emotional side. But how often has Ferrari actually gone?"

Michelin & Bridgestone were concerned about their image

"Environmentally friendly technology is for touring cars," he said. "That's where it makes sense, because the cars you see there you also see on the street.

Damn right.

See, Bernie does actually know what he's talking about. His silly ideas are usually just to get headlines, and it works every time.

I love and hate Bernie at the same time, if that's possible.

NASCAR journo Nate Ryan on some things Kimi has said during his interviews at Charlotte:

Quote:
Kimi Raikkonen on Schumi as Ferrari advisor: "He doesn’t come & tell us drivers anything. And at least I don’t need his advice."

Quote:
Kimi Raikkonen on the 2002 French Grand Prix: "@#%! race." On the 2007 Hungarian Grand Prix: "Boring race."

Quote:
Kimi Raikkonen on McLaren's Ron Dennis: "He’s strange now & then. He always wants to know everything. He doesn’t interest me."

Quote:
Kimi Raikkonen on making friends in #f1: "I’ve got my friends, and that’s enough. I’m not on the lookout for new ones."

No you don't, but at least he's honest. As an F1 driver I don't miss him. But as a Nascar driver I'll be cheering him on.

DRS zone in Monaco will be on the start-finish straight.

Two DRS zones in Canada (start-finish straight, and the entire back straight) and Valencia (Between turn 10 and 12 and between turn 14 and 17).

So for Canada we have the fact that its Montreal - which means a lolfest - tyres that last a few turns and now an extra DRS zone. Christ.

Also, DRS will be banned in the tunnel in Monaco & in Spa at Eau Rouge
