Allegedly Lux was taking the piss out of Sutil getting nowhere in F1 (including getting rejected by Renault during the winter) and getting beaten by di Resta in all the flyaway races.

Sutil (presumably in an inebriated state) did not appreciate the humour.

Which is quite understandable, he's German - and they are the least funniest people in the world. Then again Sutil probably made his opinion perfectly clear for Lux.

I would love F1 back at the "A1 Ring". A great track.

Richard Hammond and F1 engineering connections. Not bad, fairly interesting.

In other words, "Boo hoo, we don't want to do extra work or spend any money to be in one of the highest level of goddamn motorsport in the world!!!" It's almost identical to the whining the team owners have done in IndyCar about the body kits for next year.

For the record, I'm completely in favor of anything that makes the wings look more proportionate to the car, and in fact I wholeheartedly approve of the original suggestion of allowing for shaped underfloors to create ground effects. So what if you're going to spend a bunch of money to redesign the car? You were going to spend almost the same amount of money to improve your current car design anyway. Might as well make it race better in traffic!

This is normal. The FIA suggests radical rules, the teams counteract with a set of their own ideals. In fairness to both, I like both what the FIA are proposing and feel the FOTA plans are good as well. It shows the FOTA group are going in a positive direction.
