Now that is a race weekend worth traveling to go to, with 2 of the best asphalt series in North America.

12/10

Well... It's going to depend on what weekend they have that but a 250 lap modified race certainly gets me interested.

Robert Yates' passing is like a punch to the gut for me. Davey Allison is my all-time favorite driver and because of that I was a fan of Robert Yates Racing until the very end. He was a mechanical genius who made the engines that were the envy of the garage area.

So NASCAR revealed the 2018 rules package with nothing changed in the aero department :flag:

That's going to be fun to explain to insurance.

I'm guessing the multi-million dollar race team responsible for the race car pulling out into traffic will foot the bill.

That section from turn 6 to 9 looks very tight. Also I don't think they needed to have two chicanes. I can see why they've got the turn 1 one (for safety reasons, there isn't much space between turns 1 and 9) but the back straight one makes no sense to me. Either way it will be interesting, at least as a novelty for the first year it runs.

The chicane on the frontstretch will make it so they are in the gas at the start/finish line. I think without it theyd be on the brakes when crossing the line for T1

Ah yes, good point Chris. Can't have them crossing the s/f while braking.
