Now I haven't been on it in a couple years but from what I remember 77 from Charlotte to Mooresville sucks ass as it is. Screw that.

Straight from the "Never knew this existed" file, here's a rendering from 1985 of CMS' planned conversion of the frontstretch into a football stadium.

Now that I think of it, i would be ok with it if they kept the end zone stands in place during races.

I'd like to see the Nascar drivers using this in the combined-special all-star qualifier.

I missed it, but apparently Mike Helton said on Sirius yesterday that if the 0.000001% chance that Kyle Busch wrecks every race from here to Richmond happens and he doesn't get into the top 30 then he would be granted a 17th spot in the chase anyways.

I want Gordon drop out of the top 16, just to see nascar make up a reason for him to be in the chase too.

I wonder how NASCAR would handle it if Kyle made it in to the Chase but it was at the expense of Jeff Gordon being bumped. I get a mental image of imploding one of those giant hotels in Vegas.....

I mean he's driven the wheels off the car and has done well, as stupid as it would be for him to be in the same situation as the drivers who showed up every week, he definitely has earned the right to compete...believe me I hate to admit that.

God, Chocolate Myers has to be Brian France's confidant. He continues to praise Indy today and now he literally just said that Kentucky was great for the drivers but was terrible for us watching on TV. Who in the hell is he discussing these races with? I'd like to slap some sense into him but he's a big boy and would probably beat me down. Lol.
