Well isn't that just the same theory as Bristol pre-07, just that the single lane is in a different spot now?

I want to go to Bristol, but the only race I would consider going to watch at that track currently is the Modified/Truck doubleheader. Mainly for the Mods :P
The Cup races recently haven't been terrible there though in my opinion.

NASCAR has some announcement involving the K&N Pro Series East/West and Whelen Modified Tour/Whelen Southern Modified Tour tomorrow on NBCSN's studio show apparently.

I don't think so, because you couldn't even run around the high lane at old bristol. Now you can scoot to the bottom to let someone by.

I preferred Bristol when the bottom was the fastest way around, but I will always watch because the track is different and usually provides action.

So in a shitty driver for a shitty driver news, Jamie Dick gets the punt from his own team in replacement for Jeffery Earnhardt.

The current racing line at Bristol just reminds me of the asphalt days. Which wasn't a terrible thing. I think the racing at Bristol is just fine now. A buddy of mine goes to every Bristol race and he absolutely loves it. I need to get down there once.

No it's not because when you bumped someone on the low line, they'd move up the track and you went by on the inside but now you're both rim riding and if you bump someone they get the wall and you have nowhere to go but into the back of them. It's just way different.

wow thats alot of coverage im so glad i recently got NBCSN ive never really got to see the touring series lots of great drivers moved up the ranks from there plus most of the xfinity races are on NBCSN this year

p.s. the K&N east series race at VIR should be a good watch

Now that's the coverage that ESPN and FOX should have given NASCAR.

that owns. it's also cool to see K&N visiting some tracks they haven't raced at in decades (Shasta and Meridian) plus a new track, Motordrome Speedway

Bad news is that it does appear that the races are still delayed and only being given the one hour time block, so still races won't be shown in their entirety.

Good news is that VIR and some of the other tracks will be shown this year, whereas some hadn't been on Fox Sports 1 the last couple of years.

Now, if we could just get NBCSN to do all the ARCA races too, we'd be all set.

At least they're being aired. Beggars can't be choosers.

Hopefully this will help the small teams sign a few more bucks onto the sponsorship deals knowing that there will be more TV exposure.

Actually it's fine if not better. Those races are usually just over an hour anyway so with the 45 min format, you cut the crap.. cautions, red flags, etc. and get an action packed package.

I'll take any of it. I think this is a pretty cool thing they are doing. Really showing they are here for real. Fuck ESPN.

Between NBCSN and MAVTV theres better coverage now across the board in auto racing than ever before in my opinion.

I'm still confused as to how MAVTV is not part of Time Warner's "sports" tier.
