Get these cars off the ground and get some air under them in the middle of the corners. Jack them up and run street car ride height.

Can't say I remember the last time a nationwide car had it's nose bent upwards like that.

Can't just leave us hanging without more details man. :p

The OP of the thread posted this in the comments. It's apparently a COT with Nationwide front end.
Quote:
He had the car built by Roush just as something for fun. He is friends with a lot of the guys, including my friends dad, that work there and they built it for him. They all went to the track with him and this is what happened after he dipped too far below the apron. Car spun around into the wall and was on its side. Had gopros in the car will upload the footage when I can.
It was a COT with a nationwide nose.

The 9 inch spoiler with the dive planes would be great if they keep the same amount of horsepower.

the 9 inch spoiler with dive planes would be absolutely awful.

This is knee-jerk IMO. As long as you stay a reasonable distance from the field (under yellow of course) I think it's fine to show some displeasure. Call me stupid but a part of me thinks it might even be sort of important to let a driver do a little finger pointing, get in someone's head just a little if he thinks it'll get the message across. You can draw the line at throwing helmets and shit or getting way too close and intruding on the racing surface.

It's another of NASCAR's huge list of problems: they're too stupid and scared to just lay some general ground rules and make judgment calls on a case-specific basis. So they inevitably end up making guidelines that are way too open and lenient ("boys have at it") or way too strict and lazy.

I think "boys have at it" was supposed to apply to Car vs Car incidents, not car vs people...

I don't think it'll change too much. I expect more pit lane brawls as the wrecked driver saves his rage for the driver's pit crew when he gets back to pit lane instead tbh.

The driver will still be mad, this will just change the location where he shows his rage.

Yep, I agree - we might not see on-track stuff, but in the pits after the race will be fair game (where, let's face it, has always been the right place for it).

This. Driver A has a beef with Driver B. Driver A and Driver B take it out behind the haulers, break each others noses then go get a beer. Problem over.

Anyone else remember that this guy was one of the tire carriers on the 43 car that (on the instructions of Maurice Petty and Larry Pollard) knowingly put left side tires on the right side late in the October 1983 National 500 at Charlotte?

Guess that qualified him to be another bloated Nascar rep.

I agree that he's kind of a useless tool at this point, but that little 31-year-old anecdote is pretty irrelevant anyway.
