Timmy Hill is going to finish 3rd in 2013 Rookie of the Year points because he's going to run 15-18 races in the #32 FAS Lane Racing Ford.

Former NFL player becomes minority owner of Swan Racing: Bill Romanowski, who played 16 seasons in the NFL, has signed on as a minority-owner of Swan Racing, a fulltime competitor in the Sprint Cup Series. The retired NFL star joins forces with upstart team owner Brandon Davis, who is leading Swan into its first full racing season. Romanowski's health supplement company, Nutrition53, also signed on as a team sponsor and will be the primary sponsor for ten races on the #30 Toyota driven by David Stremme. Nutrition53 will have an associate sponsor position on the car for the other 26 races. Romanowski started in an astounding 243 consecutive games highlighted by 5 Super Bowl appearances as a linebacker and was selected twice to the Pro Bowl. He played for the San Francisco 49ers, 1988-1993; Philadelphia Eagles, 1994-1995; Denver Broncos, 1996-2001; and Oakland Raiders, 2002-2003. Romanowski is founder and CEO of Nutrition53, which markets a line of supplemental health drinks and vitamins developed by a team of doctors, scientists and nutritionists to help with weight loss, energy, mental performance and sleep. Nutition53 will be featured on the #30 Toyota as the primary sponsor for 10 Sprint Cup races in 2013, which include: Texas (April 13), Charlotte (May 26 and October 12), Pocono (June 9 and August 4), Sonoma (June 23), Daytona (July 6), New Hampshire (July 14 and September 22), and Atlanta (September 1).(Swan Racing)(1-31-2013)

I remember him fighting in the pits at one of the dirt track races, can't remember the venue though.

You know, I don't think I ever saw a single pack of 360 OTC back in 2007, much less today.

PETA asks for space on Earnhardt, Jr.'s #88: It's been wildly reported that Dale Earnhardt Jr. is still looking for some sponsors. In fact, Hendrick Motorsports, Earnhardt's team, has yet to find sponsorship for 13 Sprint Cup races (although with an owner that just spent a million on a Corvette, it's unlikely Earnhardt Jr. is going to miss any races). Anyway, apparently the folks over at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals heard about the open space on Earnhardt Jr.'s car. And they want some of it...for free. The animal rights organization wrote the driver a letter on Thursday, asking him to consider putting the campaign's logo on his #88 car. "I'm writing today after reading that sponsorship this season is at a low because I hope that you'll consider using the available space on your beautiful car as an opportunity to spread a lifesaving spay-and-neuter message that would spare countless dogs and cats in your home state tremendous suffering," wrote Michelle Cho, PETA's associate director. Hendrick Motorsports had no official comment on the PETA request.(AutoWeek)(1-31-2013)

It's a shame that Tyler Walker has fallen as far as he has but the only person he has to blame is himself. He's a total dumbass.

He's the only American, as far as I know, to have managed to get himself fired from an Australian sprintcar team mid-season. Just shows you what sort of guy he is.

I remember seeing him win a dirt race over in Middletown, NY years ago. Many people saw him as up and coming talent.... oh how we piss life away.
