Is it a serious proposition that someone else may take over the #2 in the Shootout???

I think all the speculation in this thread...started in this thread.

Still tons of time for that to change, though.

I'm fully expecting NASCAR to implement a last-minute "champion gets an automatic berth in the Shootout" rule that gets Brad in the field anyway.

It would be the NASCAR thing to do.

I read that Ken Schrader is building a truck to run at Eldora. This doesn't surprise me at all considering how many dirt races he runs every year.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if he's one of the main contenders to win there either.

I've heard so many names linked to truck rides at Eldora. It is truly astonishing.

I mean Christ I mean I bet 3/4 of them are bullshit, but if the 1/4 of what I've read and heard is true, this is gonna be pretty cool for sprint car and late model fans.

And, if Kenny Schrader can somehow, someway win it, I will mark the fuck out. Guy is a class act all the way and deserved so much better the past few 10 years in NASCAR. But, will he ever complain about it? Not a chance.

For once. It normally looks like a desert, unless that's fake grass.

Nope, natural. Sonoma has no sprinkler system whatsoever.

They should put fake grass for the summer. It would look so much better.

Or sprinklers.

Install a sprinkler system ASAP. That looks a hell of a lot nicer than it does in the summer.

Also worth noting that it was a fiberglass body.

No! Don't tell NASCAR Sonoma has grass atm, they're probably already on the phone to the Tarmac company to get it all paved over.... :o
