Don't get me wrong but making Truck race in dirty track is foolish. Didn't expect this level of setback in this series. But If fans love, go ahead. I won't watch it and I hope Nelsinho Piquet can get a full season ride in Nationwide 2013.

I understand the need for tradition, tradition is something I'm always defending in motorsports, but not at this level.

Now the new Chevrolet is just perfect!!! It's much better! Loved it so much!

Stop. Just stop.

"Setback" my ass, this is getting back to the very roots of stock car racing, and I commend NASCAR for having the guts to take the plunge.

Morelli where would you rather the trucks go than Eldora? I personally love it this and the 2003 cars should bring back some casual fans that have left

Oh, you mean the Trucks shouldn't go back to California Speedway? Yeah, I agree, it's a dirty track.

Calling it a setback is weird, but even though it looked decent in the testing vid, I'm also not super keen on stock cars/trucks racing in the dirt. Like I said before, I don't really get much from watching anything other than sprints/midgets on dirt. Even the Silver Crown cars look kinda dumb and clumsy on the shorter dirt ovals.

Chevrolet looks cool, but that was kind of expected. All the '13 models are easy on the eyes. I hope the efforts to improve the racing are equally solid.

Different strokes for different folks. I love watching pretty much anything on dirt. Even crappy, slow street stocks. I absolutely loved that testing video, and I showed it to my dad (who likes NASCAR but has been very frustrated with it the past few years and doesn't watch anymore) and his eyes lit up and he said it was awesome.

I was skeptical until I saw the testing video. That truck just looked so badass sliding around on dirt, I can't wait to see a whole pack of them out there. 8)
But I'm not sure if there's gonna be room for 36 trucks out there at the same time, so I expect some kind of heat system to be used. It would also be cool to have a heat system for other races as well, it might make things more interesting

Kenny Wallace posted on twitter that they are going to start 30 trucks at Eldora. He also thinks that they could see 70 entries for that race, making heat races to determine the field a real possibility.

I thought (I'm probably biased) that this was pretty funny.

The English language lacks the proper wording to describe the incompetence and lack of vision those that do not like the idea of the trucks on dirt have.

Dirts for racin', asphalts for getting there.

Except in this stupid state where Teddy Christopher and the asphalt modifieds are regarded in God like manner, but that's another discussion for another day.

That's CT for you. And I hate that name. Not only because of hearing it time and time again in the 90's and on, but that's my brothers first name coupled with my first name so it's fuckin annoying.

That was pretty funny. You could see Bowyer mouth the words "asshole" to Kenseth as he was revving the engine. At least Bowyer was able to return the favor. lol

Watching some of the season highlights on the awards... Do you guys think the Daytona 500 would be good on Monday nights in the future? I love tradition but this year showed it has the ability.

I hated the ad breaks every 5 minutes personally for the first 2 hours. Killed the flow of the race to me. But Montoya saved it and almost gave Dave Blaney a big victory. I will never forget it.

Honestly though, I hate to say this, but it would probably help legitimize the sport a little bit if that makes any sense.
