He's gone through all the makes since 2006. Heck, I think he ran a smart car once.

Robby's had some bad luck so far this season.

25 laps at Daytona before the darn engine blew up, then those pesky brake problems came up again after 33 laps at Phoenix

Infineon dropping naming-rights deal with Sonoma: Infineon Technologies will not renew its naming rights deal with Infineon Raceway when its deal with Speedway Motorsports Inc. expires in May. SMI indicated in a news release that it is not counting on revenues for 2012 for naming rights for the Sonoma, Calif. track, which hosts a NASCAR Sprint Cup race on its road course in June. The original agreement, signed in June 2002, was reportedly a 10-year, $34.4 million deal. The track was renamed from Sears Point Raceway to Infineon Raceway. Infineon Raceway VP/Marketing & Communications John Cardinale told the SportsBusiness Journal that the speedway is looking for a new naming-rights partner. “There are three or four companies we’re talking to. I wouldn’t say they’re ready to sign, but they’re certainly interested,” he said.(Scene Daily)(3-7-2012)

Smith, Menard escape injuries in Colorado road accident: NASCAR drivers #78-Regan Smith and #27-Paul Menard, along with Smith's wife Megan and a friend of the Smiths, escaped injuries in a Colorado road accident today (Wednesday, approximately 8:45 a.m. MT). The foursome was on the way to a nearby ski slope. Smith lost control of his Silverado truck after hitting a patch of ice near his mountain home in Evergreen, outside of Denver. The truck slid off the road and crashed into a collection of trees. Smith and Menard will compete in Sunday's Kobalt Tools 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. (Funiture Row Racing/RCR)(3-7-2012)

Glad to hear that nobody was hurt.

Or everyone could get what they want and Sears could be the sponsor.

Took me a replay to realize those crosshair bars are real, not just a decal. Nice! Kinda funny to see Brad and AJ talking about things getting real interesting when they'll be in a Ford by then.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Especially if he starts getting into more shoving matches with his cars.

Vickers wouldn't be getting heat if he had had a late-season run-in with anyone other than Matt "It's a great idea to go 4-wide into turn 3 at Indy" Kenseth. If it was a back-marker, people would have shrugged it off.

Matt Kenseth says his issues with Vickers are in the past. Says he "ran into him at Daytona," adds, "maybe that's the wrong choice of words"

As much as I dislike Matt and his actions on track, he's one of the funniest guys on Twitter (and post-race quotes).

Really though, aside from having some rough luck throughout his career, some people are making it seem like Brian Vickers is a no-talent hack. It's pretty unfair, considering how truly untalented a lot of drivers are, these days.

After all, he does have just as many Cup wins in the last 7 years as Dale Earnhardt Jr. does.
