I wish we had the option to go either way with the posts. Postive or negative ratings would be great.

Oh and you're going to get your underwear in the twist because of this? Did you even bother to read the amount of stupidity directed at him?

And please don't start with the "professional driver" crap. Will was really pissed off and for people to get in his face in what was a private discussion with Franchitti was rather ill-advised and stupid and they deserved to be told off by Will.

Furthermore Taglliani and Franchitti deserved to be called "wankers" for their idiotic moves.

I'm sick and tired of this "politically correct" garbage.

One of the Jayski news links: "Ragan wants the #22 ride"

Good thing he told us that, or we never would have known. I mean, surely he must be the only driver currently out of a ride who wants to join a high-level team with major sponsorship backing.

Don't remember saying I was. Just making a basic point about behaviour.

Yes thanks

Oh right, so did you read this..?

Oh yeah, for sure. Power's stuff came across as quite comical and he's turned into a bit of a hero thanks to those antics.

Thanks for proving my point and taking my words out of context

Called one of Franchitti's fans a wanker on twitter

Ah, now I remember. Thank you. Wasn't it part of that 3-day streak where he called everyone a wanker (including Tagliani)?

Yeah. Called any fan who didn't agree with him a wanker. The fans didn't abuse him, they just didn't agree with him. I bet Penske loved that one.

LOL

Also its rather sickening to see Kurt's fans attacking the guy who posted that video of Kurt being verbally abusive. (Posting his address? What the hell?) Of course, they have to go for the video poster and not lay any blame on Busch for acting so disrespectfully. It's like they think the video poster tore up the contract himself. I remember in a Youtube video of Busch going on a tirade against his team at Richmond, there were fans supporting every word of it. I mean come on now. It's like these fans have never heard of respect and how much importance it has. How can you follow someone so blindly?

It's real. It was so absurd I had to share it. There's a chance some are just troll comments, but I wouldn't put it past them to be someone's actual thinking.

Hey no worries, it doesn't matter. My comment wasn't supposed to create an arguement or come across as trolling but clearly that failed.

To be clear - I know there's a difference between the scenarios and longevity of the issues both Power and Busch have been involved in. However in some respects lengths of time should be totally irrelevant. Does that mean that it's ok to be abusive if it's only for a brief moment? Definately not. Abuse is abuse. This is not me versus Will Power. This is me versus common courtesy, or common sense. There is no appropriate time to be abusive to someone, regardless of the trigger point of the said abusive reaction. Both Busch and Power could have reacted to their scenarios in different ways, been the bigger men, but they chose to behave like pathetic individuals. The same is said for Carl Edwards, Kyle Busch and some other people in other forms of motorsport like Hamilton for his post Monaco rant and Stoner for his behaviour towards the marshalls and Rossi after Jerez. People can blame the heat of the moment for losing control of their emotions and in this sport it's something we enjoy from time to time. But it doesn't make it right and these individuals are supposed to be role models to fans, their team and sponsors alike.

I love how most of you are head over heals enjoying this... You know, as a Kurt fan, it fuckin sucks. I know he may have rubbed you the wrong way but the guy is unemployed now. Yes he caused it, so please don't bring this up, but we'be seen shit happen in the past and it slid. Hell our 2011 champ fucked with reporters and bitch slapped Brian Vickers.... Bit that's cool. You can't deny that if it wasn't for a YouTube video, Kurt would still have a ride. Fuck how many of you love when he wrecked Johnson at Richmond?? Kyle deserved this well before Kurt....

I love this forum, been around for years, and I usually don't do outbursts but its sick how all of you are relishing in this.

I understand it would suck from a fan's point of view, but here's why I have no sympathy for Kurt. Over the 12 years he's been in Cup a pile of evidence has amassed of his character and how he treats people. Off-track interview explosions, regular in-car verbal abuse of every crewchief he's ever worked with, and generally just acting like a big baby more times than it bears to mention. And he's been called out for this attitude, had crew chiefs and team members leave him - as mentioned, it really takes something for Roush Racing to say "We're retiring as Kurt Busch's apologists." Over 12 years Kurt Busch has treated a lot of people like shit with no repercussions, and it was clear for all to see. And now he's finally paying for it.

I truly hope Kurt (like his brother) gets on top of his problems, I just think it's ridiculous he's taken this long to seek help. I'm not the kind to criticise a driver for the same kind of behaviour we all exhibit - but just judged as a human being (not a driver or celebrity) Kurt has a lot of growing up to do, and he should have seen this coming.

The thing is, we have drivers we love, we hate, and we sometimes love to hate, and this is all based off of our own personal experiences. Some of us may have even met our favorite driver and that experience alone could mean infinitely more than the rest of us having only seen them from the TV set. For me, when I see people trying to do their job and getting abused for it, that weighs a ton on my opinion, because of my own life experiences and being in the shoes of the person trying to do their job. This isn't meant to be interpreted as "my experiences mean more than yours," but just that there are so many big and little things that can make us love one driver and hate another. And of course, new wounds hurt more than old ones. (ie. incidents X driver did Y number of seasons ago doesn't mean as much.) I am sure there are reasons you're a fan of Kurt Busch that some of us can't relate to on the same level.

I'd love to see Kurt Busch get help with his emotions and get back into the sport with a new face. And there is no exceptions for other drivers in the sport who might act in such a foul manner too. But in this case, it's not often we see a driver who's been noticeably hostile to his team get fired from said team, so it is notable and unique, rather than simply relishing the misery of a person just because he is a Busch.

Damn that YouTube, if YouTube wasn't around Kurt Bush wouldn't of been a huge prick.

With the way he treated his team and his boss week in and week out for the past 3 years, I'm not sure you can deny if it wasn't this then it would've been something else.

He was probably under pressure for his drive and the video just removed any doubts Penske had
