He's quite the womaniser - 5 kids to 3 different women

Correction - 6 kids :8:

That is going from deadbeat dad territory to actually, that's quite impressive. 5 of the 6 kids would probably be faster than him.

One thing is for sure, this race got people talking. We're already on page 6 and its only friday and the cars barely ran any laps. :whistling:

After the Brawn GP docu, I was checking the 2009 Australian thread again. 144 pages, around 20 before FP1 even started. Around 10 during FP1 alone. And not even spam, but news and updates about everything happening that weekend.

Where did we lose that?

We got older and wiser. Work, family, kids and mortgages.

We have quality now. It used to be one hectic middle-school playground, or high-school hall, or college campus at best.

Now it's a classy gentlemen's club with cigars, whiskey, and meaningful discussion. Mostly :tumble:

They should just stick a road cone over the manhole covers and tell them to get on with it.

Also, back in the day the forum used to be where we'd hear about things for the first time. With so much social media and news outlets reporting the same things, it feels a bit pointless to report some piece of "news" because it's pretty likely most people have read it already.

Sounds like we're progressing through the "Driven" checklist:

- Tyre picking up a coin
- Manhole cover flying
- Skirt blown by the wind
- Driver sleeping with another driver's wife
- Helmetless high-speed pursuit in live traffic

The week-end is just starting

For the skirt blown by the wind, first we need a crowd...

Source: trust me bro, this guy in an RB costume told me so and I walked in a crowd

I mean, the GP is a farce, but man, people and social media just suck. That u/shitposter and Twatter post crap, I can understand, but then being relayed without any further evidence by a self-proclamed F1 breaking news account, is just everything that's wrong with this massive scam circus that is social media nowadays. Fuck the organisers maybe, but also fuck those guys for sure, and yes that still applies even if the rumor turns out to be true this time.

I'm liking Max this weekend. Calling the track boring and retweeting Marciello's tweet about how Macau is better.

Maybe you'll find this one more to your liking, coming from the official account.

tl;dr - "No refunds."

I think it only works if you change the URL back to twitter.com.

EDIT:

soooo if that had happened at Spa or Silverstone some higher ups at FOM and FIA would be drooling to make it the last one, but since this is the Liberty showcase they can play the farce whatever they want to and is all fine

all they could do is a celebrity race on Clios

What is safe at 2AM, and unsafe at 5AM? Strange not to just keep people in

The security guards were only contracted until 2am, so there was no-one to keep the peace.

On a similar note, the streets were kept closed until 6am, which interfered with the workers trying to get home from the night shift. This went down about as well as you can expect.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

It's not like there's a whole avenue of businesses open 24/7 or anything like that.

Oh dear, the Bellagio has a “Shoey Bar” where you can get tipsy drinking out of Ricciardo’s shoe.

When you've got to preform at 10 but weld some manhole covers at 11
