What the fuck? They left a truck with an injured driver in and not bring out the caution?

Either every official went blind or fell asleep at the same time. That's my only explanation.

I've got to give Landon Cassill and the #10 team a lot of credit. They took a car that caught on fire a week ago, hauled it across country to their shop and repaired it and brought it back across country and he started from the rear and finished 6th.

I know it’s early but the racing isn’t impressing me much this week. It’s not as bad as the Gen 6 but the amount of off-throttle time isn’t what I was hoping to see. Perhaps Fontana just made things shine better with that old ass surface.

Might help if this stack of morons could actually complete something approaching a full-length stint.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I've really enjoyed the racing today so far personally. The off-throttle time we've seen hasn't been huge, but they've also barely had any longer runs to get any tire wear. You could see how much less grip they have on worn tires when Kurt Busch dropped like a rock after not taking tires toward the end of the stage. And there's ample opportunity for mistakes, so we're seeing lots of passing and re-passing from people having to catch the car when it gets loose.

That sucks. All because jesus boy stayed out on old tires and became a moving chicane.

They limited on tyres. The end of the race could be interesting with this level of drop-off.

I'm quite enjoying this. Things are actually happening, which isn't something you've been able to say in NASCAR for a while
