I doubt think they will ring the church bells in Maranello this year...except for the death bells. :p

How relieved must Ferrari be that the Tifosi cannot attend this year?

I always think Monza should have the potential to be an amazing race, as the track is so unique, then not much happens

We don't even have drama in lap 1 on the chicane. Track needs higher kerbs and more gravel

My only anticipation in this race is to see Ferrari getting lapped once, and why not twice, in a race without any incidents for them.

Forecast atm says scattered thunderstorms on Sunday. Perfect conditions for disappointment

The straight line pace of the Renault might force a few re calculations.

The first chicane is such irredeemable trash. I wish it were shaped like the second chicane right before Lesmo.

I guess my memory really tricked me out. Back in 2004 I thought seeing a different type of 1st chicane that was right-left then left-righ and not just a right-left like they do it today

they need to come back with high kerbs, specially where they took gravel and replaced with tarmac

Wasn't that with the proposed track changes a few years back?

The proposal was another set of corners, just into the forest at the inside of the current Curva Grande.

I'd rather they don't. That would turn part of the forest run towards chicane 2, into yet another tarmac'ed parking lot. They would need grandstands there as well so it would clear a whole area and make it look like a Paul Ricard mk2 with no sense of speed.

There is nothing wrong with the chicanes as they are now. They may not be the best driving-wise, especially the first one, but they provide good battles and comebacks.

the 1976-1999 chicane was the best, should have never changed it
