I read yesterday, that the green flag deadline for everyone at IMS, is 6 PM.

Latest weather info shows that we may have a chance to get the entire race in.

Anyway, with a serious threat of rain, we could be watching some badass racing, as we approach lap 101.

The window in Terre Haute has been shut. A large cell is heading into Indiana with a great deal of lightning & wind gusts up near pace car speed

For amusement while we hope the rain decides to blow over or stay away from Indy for race time

The bomb has alarmed, gates are open

the first big band of rain with the lightning might of just missed the track by a hair, as it's way north than the forecast train back at 4AM

I am genuinely worried for this race. Those spins in practice don't drum up confidence. Also if its overcast, it'll be shades of the 1992 wreckfest.

Dude we had cars doing actual backflips before the 100th running (I think it was the 100th anyway) and the race was largely a bore with a couple of wall scrapes and zero flights

Practice/qualy form has no baring on the magnitude of the race itself

I think the practices/quals were a little more on edge because people were worried about getting into the race... I think it'll be a little more settled down for the race.

And they're already giving Danica the spotlight, FFS.

I think the issue is most of the accidents were cars getting loose following other cars. There could be a lot of that in the race, but hopefully they may be more stable in race trim.

A lot of the accidents in last year's race were similar, so it'll probably be like that.

The way they've been ultra officious this year, even besweet gets taken down 2/3 times per race, I doubt there'll be any yt

Besides. I think B/S is at the race so don't expect anything from him...
