Looks like we're going to get through the season with one brief, championship defining light shower in Germany as the only rain of the season .
Curse you, European heatwave of 2018

Not sure if vettel should feel unlucky that the only time it rained he lost a clear opportunity to increase his title gap, or really really fortunate that it didn't rain more often so he stayed in the title hunt for longer in the first place

Oh well, let's hope for mechanical/crash/penalties for most of the top 3 teams, I think we need a couple of the faster cars starting from the back to make this one worth watching, tast track or not.

So you’re ignoring / forgetting the race defining storm that occurred during Hungarian GP qualifying then?

Ehhh, my point was mainly about wet races

If it had rained on Sundays nearly as much as it has rained on Friday and Saturdays, this season would be a lot more fun

No because Lewis would have wrapped up the championship by July.

Yes because then there would not have been so many team orders.

Are you sure about no chuva? Just checked the forecast and there is chance of rain for the whole weekend.

It'll be interesting to see if Hamilton remains as hungry for wins. I can see him spanking the crap out of everyone just by having fun in the car, now that all pressure is relieved officially.

Also, any bets on where Vettel will make lap 1 contact? My money is on turn 4 (or in the middle of the straight leading to it). I know, easy answer, not like there are many other opportunities on this circuit.

History doesn't really back you up on that

Hamilton (and Schumacher too...in 2001/2004) have tended to let themselves relax a bit...too much when the intense pressure of the title is off.

Vettel will probably win (lol, srs) now Ferrari are back to dominating and Mercedes are back to tyre shittyness.

It's going to be the first ever Brazilian Grand Prix without any Brazilian drivers. Sad day for great nation with great Formula One history.

Brazilian drivers who have won their home event:

Emerson Fittipaldi 1973, 1974

Carlos Pace 1975

Nelson Piquet 1983, 1986

Ayrton Senna 1991, 1993

Felipe Massa 2006, 2008

Spoiler:
It was Glock

The website I'm looking at (https://www.wunderground.com/hourly/br/ ... 2018-11-11) is predicting showers and thunderstorms for before the start of the race, maybe during the start. Same for Saturday but with a lower chance.
