Also Hubert's headrest flew off after the crash.

At least the monocoque of Hubert stayed intact.

The same one that was ripped in half?

Pretty sure it was Alesi that dropped it, you can see his car in the foreground without a rear wing as it cuts to the massive crash. The front of Correa's car had also been sheared off, looks like some hideous broken legs but man I fear for Hubert.

An asshole has already changed Hubert's wikipedia as "was a racing driver"...

I'm seeing a few tweets mention that both drivers are awake and conscious. They're citing a Fox Sports Latin America reporter.

I'm kinda worried those tweets weren't factual, now. I read them several minutes ago and there seems to be almost nobody else talking about or mentioning it.

"Fox3 just said that both of them are conscious, they’re in the medical center, no further information"

some copy-paste in circulation

I don't want to give wrong information but here's what I've been told by my photographer friend who's on spot and who knows pretty much every marshals in Spa: He's telling me that Correa was unconscious after the crash and that they are waiting for the helicopter now. Don't really know who's right or wrong here, I guess we just have to wait and hope for the best. Horrible crash :(

Maybe marshalls were hit by debris too.

But he moved his hands after his car came to a standstill, so it didn't look to me that he was unconcious.

Yes, I saw this too. I think there's a lot of talks going around the track and online about this accident and it's hard to exactly know the truth for now. He's telling me that journalists he talked to 10 minutes ago also don't have much information for now. We can only wait for some official report now. I really hope they're ok.

In the TV broadcast.

I can confirm that once Correa's car has stopped, he's moving head and hands.

I also saw Correa moving, but who knows if he has internal bleeding like the Danish driver in Aston Martin in Le Mans few years ago.

Whoever was upside down you can see his feet bouncing around inside the tub. Helluva hit to rip the pedal box out of the car and snap the monocoque with the suspension still attached.

Hope for the best for those boys.

Allan Simonson. We were told that he was awake and alert and then that statement came though completely out of the blue :(

The Brazilian reporter making the coverage for Globo actually said both drivers were rescued alive from their cars.
