I used to love Martinsville and that fisnish would have been awesome 10 years ago but now I didnt even watch the race. I had it on at the same time with F1 but just couldnt get into it anymore. The ridiculous chase format, stages and the atrocious coverage have all taken the toll on me. Which is sad.

He literally wrecked someone. It has nothing to do with political correctness.

I won't argue that there isn't a streak of hypersensitivity among society but those who complain about political correctness are a thousand times more annoying.

I'm not disputing the fact he flat out wrecked Chase. I should've worded it better, but my real issue is the what always comes across as a completely forced, PR driven (understandably), fake, and grovelling apology. If he said something short and sweet along the lines of "Everyone, i completely fucked up and dumped Chase like an idiot" it would be so much more believable and genuine, IMO instead of a block of text like he wrote.

Totally agree there. But that annoying and robotic insincerity is different from political correctness, IMO. Related, maybe.
