Palmer is a bad driver.
Ericsson is a bad driver.
Chilton is a bad driver.

Each of these drivers are also pay drivers yet none have backed up their investments with anything near a half decent performance.

Stroll is a pay driver who at least has shown promise in his junior career, which was recognized by two F1 team’s junior organizations, and has shown continual promise through his rookie F1 season. He’s made a few mistakes in 2017 but nothing terrible or worse / different to other F1 rookies and certainly nothing that deserves the negative opinion you are holding against him.

Is Stroll a bad driver? No.

Depends how you define bad? If you mean bad is level with 99.9% of drivers on the planet than you maybe right. It's easy to say someone is bad at something, if you have silly standards.

Stroll may of taken an unpopular path into the sport, but he's still a kid and I think writing him off in his 1st year is a classic mistake people make.

I agree with this. Many people just hold the money against him. But let’s see where he gets in year two, he drove very well in Canada and the race after that.
