Hulkenberg has no pace today. Did he pick up some damage in the first corner melee?

He's on the hardest tyre available and has been so since early in the race, a strange strategic choice by Renault.

No-one able to change their position because of dirty air from the car in front, despite tyres blistering and 10 lap fresher tyres on some cars?

I am shocked

I never get excited for battles like that when you just know no-one can pass

They showed Bottas' reaction time (0.201). In athletics 0.200 is the reaction time allowed for sprints (anything under is deemed a false start). One can say 0.201 is the best start reaction possible EVER.

They did? I didn't see it on sky. They never even mentioned it.

Either way, 0.201 seconds from what? The time the lights went out or when somebody pushed a button for the lights turn off? There is a huge difference there, especially if they use light bulbs of any kind (non-LED). On the onboard he moves when the lights are still on, the other drivers are convinced it was a jump start. So i bet the timing is from the moment the button for lights-out is pressed, which has a delay of a few ms, then turning a relays for the power to turn off the lights, etc.

Anyway, it seems Bottas has all the luck on his side.
